Originally from Northwestern Connecticut, John first got into furniture and carpet sales 20 years ago and worked in a variety of sales and management positions since then.
An avid hiker, John left the business to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. After completing, he spent the next 15 years selling coins and collectibles on the internet and operating a housecleaning/property management business.
Because of his love for cooking, John opened up a restaurant in Georgia, but later closed it to move back to the north country, where he is happy to get back to his roots, helping people design their home interiors and selling quality merchandise for Brown Furniture.
